Frequently Asked Questions

COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT THE PROCESS OF DESIGNING AND CRAFTING JEWELLERY?

The creation process starts by hearing from you; by email, or phone and our website. You have something in mind: an event to commemorate, a relationship to celebrate. You probably know you’d like to create a ring, bracelet, pendant or brooch. Booking an appointment begins the journey to the creation of your customized piece. We can collaborate and discuss design ideas together by virtual Zoom Meeting, email, or phone. Your design consultation is free. Then on to start your personalized sketches and quotes. Gemstones and diamonds will be sourced to suit your desires and budget.

DO YOU REPAIR JEWELLERY?

Yes we do! We cover all repair work: rebuilding worn out claws, re-stringing pearls, resizing rings, repairing chains, antique restorations, the list goes on. Bring your piece in and let us see how we can help you.

WHAT SHOULD WE KEEP IN MIND WHEN DECIDING ON THE PRECIOUS METAL FOR OUR JEWELLERY?

If you are going to buy jewellery as an investment, be sure it is something you would enjoy keeping and potentially wearing. We are in a predominantly 22k industry and while it is a precious metal to invest not the best metal for stone setting.

CAN I USE MY OWN STONES & METAL?

Yes! At Tresurya we understand the important emotional and sentimental value of using gemstones/diamonds that you already own or have inherited. We are happy to reset these stones into your new custom jewellery piece. We also supply brand new gemstones and diamonds.

HOW LONG DOES A CUSTOM JEWELLERY PIECE TAKE TO CREATE?

From start to finish, depending on the complexity of design and type of jewellery, the process could be from 3-5 weeks. However, it is possible to complete a project much sooner than this. If you are interested in a custom jewellery project and have a shorter time frame we encourage you to get in contact with us here.

CAN I USE MY OLD JEWELLERY TO MAKE SOMETHING NEW?

Yes! Re-designing your old jewellery is something we do all the time. Whether it is your own jewellery that you feel is out of date or ‘tired looking’ or jewellery you have inherited and felt you won’t wear. We are able to bring new life to old treasures. Please read our Repair and Redesign page for more information and to see some of our work.
